A great hands-free way to make a call and even answer calls on Apple devices, is using SIRI.
Yes, you do it by adding two actions together in one swoop. Like this;
Hey Siri, call so and so on speakerphone.
It is much easier doing this and makes iPhone into more of an assistant.
You can also use Siri to answer calls on speakerphone. Just say something like, "Hey Siri, answer this call on speakerphone”. Yes it can be done while the phone is ringing. Isn’t that cool?
Bonus: If you see a need to always use speakerphone and not need to hit the audio button to transfer from earpiece to speaker, here’s how to change those settings:
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings.
Tap Accessibility.
Tap Touch.
Tap Call Audio Routing.
Under Core Audio Routing, select Speaker.
That's it! Now, whenever you answer or make a call, it will automatically go to speakerphone.
Here are some additional tips:
If you want to be able to switch between speakerphone and the earpiece, you can do so by double-pressing the side button on your iPhone or iPad.
